Oottupura

The devotees of Lord Chandrasekhara purathappan has decided to construct and submit an Oottupura ( Bhojanalayam) in his devine premises and the work has been started. As per temple vasthu it is one of the Angam (member) of a temple complex. The oottupura is designed for utilising as bhojanalayam during Utsavam for Prasaadamoottu on valiyavilakku day , on every 1^st of malayalam month for the namajapam vazhipaadu and also for any other annadanam occasions. In addition to these the hall is planned to be utilised as an Atmeeya hall where we can conduct Srimad bhaghavata sapthahams, Srimad Narayaneeya parayanam, Sree maha Sivapurana parayanam, Akshara sloka sadass, Patasala for Geetha classes, fine arts like vocal, instrumental etc . More over the hall is also can be utilised by the public for their programmes which is in tune with the temple customs.

The approximate estimated cost of the construction goes to Rs 75 lakhs and we are planning to finish it by Chingam ( September). We also have a plan to conduct a Bhagavatha Sapthaham as the inaugaral function of the Oottupura as part of our Kalasa dinacharanam. In this occasion we request all individuals and families irrespective of caste, religion or region to participate in this effort, to build and submit the Oottupura in the premises of Lord Kailasapathi for utilising by his devotees of coming generations, by donating generously to the Nirman fund. The donations can be made either by Money order, Demand Draft or Account payee Cheques drawn in favour of "SREE CHANDRA SEKHARAPURAM SIVA TEMPLE TRUST", payable at Aluva or Ernakulam.
